About Alison

Alison is passionate about seeing women of all ages truly connecting to the heart of God and His plan for their lives. She has walked through painful times and had her faith shaken to the core, but she has learned to lean into the promises of God to find strength and hope. Alison desires for all God’s daughters to experience the freedom a life with Christ brings. Alison oversees the Women’s Ministry as well as serves alongside her husband, as the Campus Pastors of Dream City Church Scottsdale in Scottsdale, Arizona.
She communicates practically with personal honesty, transparency, and a love for the Word of God. Alison is also passionate about her family, consisting of the 4 energetic, fun-loving boys that the Lord has blessed her and her husband with: Malaki, Zayne, Mataio, and Jase. She enjoys spending time with her family, playing with her boys, finding time for date nights with her husband, and coffee!

Alison’s words are conversational, warm, vulnerable and caring. After a few paragraphs you will feel as if she were an old friend. Her testimony is inspiring, struggles relatable, and her love for Jesus oozes out of every sentence.

She's Living Freedom

The purpose of this part of the website is to share stories (similar to those in the book) about other women who have walked through difficult situations and are now living freedom. We all face hard times, but it's so encouraging to know we're not alone! If you have a story that you would like to share, please email us.

“Three years ago I was diagnosed with cancer which was one of those blows in life I never thought I’d face. The diagnosis came in the middle of the divorce and child custody battle that I never saw myself going through either. I was a single mom, working full-time, raising two daughters, and going through chemo. There were days I felt so completely drained, and I knew the enemy was attacking the little strength I did have. However, I had made a decision to fight the good fight of faith, and I wasn’t going to back down.
Everything I had learned from the Word of God, all the sermons I had listened to, the Bible classes and prayer had equipped me to fight. My trust in who God is gave me the courage to win! Fear, doubt, and hopelessness tried often to overwhelm me, so I had to be resolved at what I was going to choose: life or death, blessings or curses. It was (and is still) a daily choice! I have been cancer-free for three and half years now, praise God! However, living in freedom is still a decision I (we) must make each day. We have the authority and must decide to exercise it. I choose to spend time with the Lord in prayer and worship, speaking the Word over my circumstances each day sometimes several times a day. Faith comes by hearing the Word. We must make the deposits of His Word into our spirits, so in the day of affliction we can make a withdrawal. It is a decision we must make even in the face of fear.”
